Ian D. Feldman writes thrillers. I specialize in mystery, suspense, police procedurals, detective, and speculative thrillers with an emphasis on character-driven plots.
My stories explore pressure, power, corruption, survival, and the irreversible choices people make under extreme circumstances not recognzing an underlying pattern drives it all. Real people make the best heroes. No super powers or extraordinary technology to overcome their problems. Just real people with real problems who want the same things as everyone does dealing with life as it comes.
Villains. No cartoonish overlords with armies of minions and endless resources here. My villains are the ones we all face daily: bosses who abuse their position; politicians who know better than everyone and make promises they never intend to keep; and bureaucrats who follow rules without thinking.
